Awards
Our institution has been credited with the following awards for its outstanding services to the disabled:
- State Award for its outstanding services for differently-abled from the Govt. of Tamilnadu for the years 1993 and 2000.
- National Trust Award as Best Residential Care Centre for children with Mental Retardation and as Best Care Givers Training Centre for the years 2003 and 2004 respectively.
- President’s National Award as Best institution providing best education, rehabilitation, and employment opportunities for the differently-abled. This award was given to us by His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the then President of India on 3rd December 2005, at New Delhi on World Differently abled Day.
- Best Industrial training institute award by Tamilnadu Human Rights Association for the year 2006.
- National Trust award as for the best product ( Handicraft Items from waste silk cocoons) developed for sheltered workshop for persons with mental retardation for the year 2008.
- Seva Rathna Award from Tamilnadu Cinema Kalai Mandaram, Chennai to the Director, Mr. A. Lawrence.
- Best Social Worker Award from Subam Trust, Salem to the Director, Mr. A. Lawrence.
- Best person of Honour award from Muthamizh Kalai Sanga Trust, Nammakal to the Director, Mr. A. Lawrence.
- Nightingale Award by Indian Blind Welfare Trust, Salem to the Director, Mr. A. Lawrence.
- Life Time Achievement Award from Vallalar Trust, Tharamangalam to the Director, Mr. A. Lawrence. for the year 2017.
- Best Institution Award received from The District Collector for the year 2018.
- Golden Queen Award from Chennai Media, Chennai for the Secretary, Mrs.M.Juliet, Secretary for the year 2016.
